Blog 15 – Liking your own Facebook Status/Photo

Just another quick rant guys…

Yes, you guessed it, This one is about Facebook! *Cheers all round*

To those people who like their own status/photos;

Why would you do it?

Why? Why? WHY?!

You’re bound to like whatever you just posted, I mean, you just posted it, it’s not news to anyone that you like your own picture. Unless you’re Schizophrenic, then both of you are excused automatically.

Liking your own status is as if you write it and then think. “Woah, that was really witty, boy am I hilarious – got to like this one”

I’ll tell you what it’s like…It’s like giving yourself a high-five…In public.

If that’s not humiliating enough, another rather annoying thing is the captions.

That’s right. Photo captions.

“I look so ugly, lolz” – What the hell? If you really thought that way, then you wouldn’t have uploaded it in the first place. Fishing for compliments is what it is, I tell you!

Also the totally unrelated song quote captions…I am not even going to go into that. I’m sure you know what I mean.

Ah well, I suppose I’ll have to let this one pass as well, no point getting homicidal about the internet.

Disclaimer: This is coming from someone who followed himself on WordPress when he just started out, (for the numbers, obviously) so take this with a pinch of salt.
